USIMAC is FREE!

Utah Special Education Directors,

 

It is with great excitement that I would like to announce the official approval of our “USIMAC Free-Materials Test Period”.  The State Board of Education gave a unanimous vote in favor of our test period that will run from January 1, 2012 to June 30, 2012.  During this time, all LEA’s will be able to order items from USIMAC Free of Charge.  The Utah State Office of Education will assume the cost of these materials during this test period.  We are very grateful to USOE for their assistance with this Data Collection Project. The purpose of the test period is to collect data on the amount of materials being ordered. 

 

Please feel free to order any items needed by your students for the remaining 2011-2012 school year as well as the upcoming 2012-2013 school year. As always, materials are created on a first come, first serve basis so the sooner you get your 2012-2013 order in, the sooner they will be complete.  Just a reminder that we will, once again, offer our guarantee that any orders received prior to April 1, 2012 will be 100% complete by the first day of class.

 

During this Test Period Special Education Directors will not be required to approve any orders, however, we will send a carbon copy of each order to the respective Special Education Director so that you are aware of the items that are being ordered and your student’s needs.  Attached is a brief document on the ordering process. 

 

We are very excited about the approval of this test period and hope that you will all take advantage of this cost saving time period.
